Credit and debit card fraud is growing every year, and one of the reasons for this is that many people simply do not look after their cards properly, or treat them as the valuable confidential items that they are.  Many people think that if anything happens and their cards are misused by fraudsters that their card provider will just ‘sort it out’ for them and refund them for any fraudulent charges, but this is not necessarily the case and you could end up paying for some of the charges yourself, especially if the card provider decides it was your mishandling of the card that led to the fraud in the first place.
